Car Crashes Into West Coast Self-Storage Facility in Seattle

A 28-year-old man crashed his car into the front office of West Coast Self-Storage in Seattle early Thursday morning. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Seattle Police Department, the source reported.

First responders were called to 3736 Rainier Ave S. around 2:45 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered the vehicle had breached the building. The driver was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The car was later towed, and a structural engineer determined the self-storage building was safe for customers and staff.

Headquartered in Everett, Washington, West Coast Self-Storage is a self-storage acquisition, development and property-management firm. It operates more than 85 facilities in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
