DealPoint Merrill Hires Vice President of Business Development for JustStorage Self-Storage Brand

DealPoint Merrill has hired Andrew Jones as vice president of business development for its newly launched JustStorage self-storage brand. In this role, he’ll spearhead the management, curation and onboarding of new partners to the company’s third-party management platform, according to a press release.

Prior to joining JustStorage, Jones was a managing partner for OTR Truck Parking. Before that, he served as regional manager for self-storage real estate investment trust Extra Space Storage Inc., where he managed a portfolio of more than 100 properties. He was also previously a manager for Yardi Systems Inc., a provider of property-management software and related services to the real estate sector.

Jones earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

DealPoint launched the JustStorage brand earlier this year. Headquartered in Los Angeles, DealPoint has additional offices in New York, Nevada and Ohio. Its portfolio comprises 20,000 self-storage units in 10 states. The company is a privately held, nationwide real estate development and property-management firm.
